Intended learning outcomes

This course aims to make students aware of the problems of regional and urban planning, from the perspective of spatial planning and environment.

Intended leraning: analyze and make use of territorial management tools and implementation processes at different scales; understand and analyze the planning principles with the environment. Competences: construction of an analytical attitude that allows the student to plan solutions for a global intervention in the urban territory. Regarding the environment, students are expected to: understand the concept of sustainable development and identify the basic strategies for their promotion; understand the concepts of sustainable cities and urban innovation, environmentally friendly solutions at global/regional problems; develop knowledge about reducing consumption and minimizing waste, promoting energy efficiency and air quality.
